Policy Formulations, Networking and Advocacy


In this course, the dynamic roles played by NGOs and community development agencies in policy formulation and advocacies are examined at three levels: local, national and international. Strategies for participating in and influencing the policy process are explored, and students develop skills to design action plans for NGOs. Building gender considerations into NGOs activities, also issues on human rights and refugee, then conflict prevention, resolution, and laws regulating NGO activities worldwide and issues of collaboration and partnership are critically examined.
